The million dollar question you need to answer before you immigrate.. 

Scores of immigrants have immigrated to Canada and made a living without regret. There is no doubt that initial settlement experiences are a challenge but all agree that it is worth the effort. Here are a few things to think about-

1. Does your current residence give free medical treatment to all?
2. Do your children get free education and that too world class?
3. Can you move about freely irrespective of your caste, creed, origins etc?
4. Are you taken care if you have no money left?
5. Is the delivery of new babies free?
6. Can you afford a 2000 sqft house for a family of four?
7. Do you have park at a walking distance from your home?
8. Do you have free swimming classes in your community?
9. Are you treated with equality and justice?
10. Do you get a government funded pension for seniors?  

If your answer is NO to all of above you need to check out Canada! If your answer is No to only 2 of the 10 above you might be better off where you live.
